It shall be the policy of the St. Louis Board of Education that instructional arrangements in adult education programs will be aware of accepted approaches to learning.

INSTRUCTION

Instructional Arrangements

According to Board Policy P6215, and in recognition of the wide range of age groups, skill levels and program emphasis of continuing education programs, division of community education administrators and the division of career and vocational education administrators will assure the appropriateness of those programs through the use of the following instructional considerations:

1. Class Size

2. Groupings

3. Field Trips

4. Homework

5. Make-up Work

6. Class Examinations

7. Instructional Methods.

Each of the above considerations will be made in conformity with relevant guidelines emanating from the various division funding sources.
