Curriculum Extensions
Recreation and Recess

All students will have an opportunity to develop knowledge, understanding, and/or skills in the processes of physical growth and maturation, health, recreation, and recess to the extent of his or her developmental ability. The Board of Education shall provide times for recess and/or recreational activities for all students.

Recreation and Recess

The Board of Education recognizes that time shall be provided for recess and/or recreational activities for all students.

The superintendent shall provide the board with recommendations for recess time in accordance with statutory requirements. Specific time schedules will vary with grade levels and with school schedules.
