LOUIS BOARD OF EDUCATION POLICY INSTRUCTION ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE AND SECONDARY Instructional Services Equity The Board of Education recognizes its responsibility and continued commitment to the ideal of equity in all educational experiences. The board demonstrates its commitment to equity by supporting the following actions: Enforcement of federal, state, and local legislation that safeguards the interests of protected populations. Adherence to affirmative employment practices designed to eliminate stereotyping and bias. Review of all curricula and extracurricular activities to eliminate stereotyping and bias as well as ensure full participation and opportunities of access for all students. Equitable allocation and distribution of fiscal and human resources. Attention to the improvement of equitable managerial and instructional practices.
