Equity - Americans with Disabilities Act/Education for Individuals with Disabilities Act

All board sponsored programs, services, or activities will be accessible to individuals with disabilities, when viewed in their entirety.

Accessibility may be achieved by reasonable modification of rules, policies, practices; removal of architectural, communication, or transportation barriers; or provision of auxiliary aids and services. The Board of Education intends to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990/Education for Individuals with Disabilities Act. The board shall take whatever action is necessary to ensure the full participation of individuals with disabilities in all board services, activities, programs, and events.

All policies, regulations, and bylaws should be construed in a manner, which is consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990/Education for Individuals with Disabilities Act.
