ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE AND SECONDARY

Use of Video or Audio Recorders at IEP Meetings.

The use of video or audio recorders during Individualized Education Program (“IEP”) meetings is prohibited. Exceptions to this policy will be made if the IEP team determines that use of audio or video recorders are necessary to ensure that the parent understands the IEP, the IEP process, or to implement other parental rights guaranteed under part B of the IDEA. The Executive Director of Special Education will ensure that this policy will be uniformly applied to all students.
