Activities

Conduct -- Alcohol

The use, possession, distribution and sale of alcohol is prohibited on school premises.

In accordance with Board of Education policy, administrative procedures apply in dealing with pupils involved with alcoholic beverages or intoxicants of any kind while on school premises.

Employees observing students using, selling, distributing and/or possessing alcoholic beverages on school premises will report the student to the school principal or designee.

Any student found in violation of this regulation shall be subject to disciplinary action, the nature and extent of which will be determined according to existing procedures for the discipline of students and any other applicable provisions of the law.

For purposes of this regulation, “school premises” means any district facility or property, including but not limited to schools, school playgrounds, school parking lots, school buses, administrative buildings and school activities, whether on or off school property.
