STUDENTS ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE AND SECONDARY Activities Conduct - Tobacco Smoking will not be permitted for all students on school premises. The illegal possession, distribution, and sale of tobacco by students on school premises is also prohibited at all times. Student violators are subject to suspension as provided in board policy and regulation and in accordance with the law. Employees observing students using, selling, distributing and/or possessing tobacco on school premises will report the student to the principal or designee. For purposes of this regulation, “school premises” means any district facility or property, including but not limited to schools, school playgrounds, school parking lots, school buses, administrative buildings and school activities, whether on or off school property.
