ST. LOUIS BOARD OF EDUCATION REGULATION Transfers and Withdrawals -- Adjustment Transfer The term "adjustment transfer" refers to that procedure whereby a student retains the right to be enrolled in the St. Louis Public Schools but is assigned to another school. The superintendent or the associate superintendent for site support/instructional and leadership may issue an adjustment transfer under the following circumstances: (a) when the student's conduct or performance indicates that such transfer would be in the best interest of the student, (b) when the student's behavior is prejudicial to good order and discipline in a school, (c) when the student's behavior tends to impair the morale or good conduct of other students, or (d) for other reasons set out in the rules, regulations, administrative guidelines, and the Uniform Code of Students' Rights and Responsibilities Related to Conduct.
