Student Records -- Maintenance of Records in a Record Room

A record room will receive, store, microfilm, and make accessible all permanent student records as prescribed by rules or regulations of the Board of Education and federal and state laws. The record room section is also responsible for the maintenance of records of the proceedings of the board, warrant registers, and payroll data. Such records are maintained in microfilm form, when appropriate. These records are maintained in the manner prescribed in the state public school records manual, as amended, and are retained for periods consistent with the retention schedules contained therein.
