Attendance

Suspension and Expulsion -- Suspension to Secure Cooperation of Parents

Principals shall request parents to come to school for a conference when behavior or other conditions are interfering with a student's progress. Parents shall be expected to attend such conferences.

The principal shall send written notice to require the parent’s presence at school, and may, with the approval of the associate superintendent for site support/instructional leadership, suspend a student from school to secure the necessary cooperation of the parents for a period not to exceed ten (10) days.
