Time Off Work to Vote

In accordance with Missouri law, any employee of the St. Louis Public Schools who is entitled to vote at any election held within this state shall, on the date of the election, be entitled to time off from his/her scheduled working hours which allows three (3)  hours between the time of the poll opening or three (3) successive hours before the poll closing.
This policy shall not apply to an employee if there are three (3) successive hours while the polls are open in which he/she is not in the service of the District.
Requests for time off for voting must be submitted to the employee's immediate supervisor prior to the day of the election.
