All Employees - Pay Rates

Rates of Pay

Rates of pay for all employees shall be approved by the Board of Education and specified in the district's annual Compensation Plan for employees.

The superintendent of schools designates the Division of Human Resources as the responsible department to implement and assure consistent application of any rates approved by the board.

Pay Rates - Daily Pay Rates

CERTIFICATED AND ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF

An annual employee's daily rate of pay will be computed by dividing the annual salary by 260 days for 12-month employees; for 11-month employees by 220 days; for 10 1/2-month employees by 210 days and for 10-month employees by 200 days.

NON-CERTIFICATED STAFF

Hourly and daily rates of pay for non-certificated employees will be outlined in the annual Compensation Plan.
Extra School Duties

Those extra school duties for which extra pay and/or reduced teaching loads are allowed shall be governed by salary schedules and regulations approved by the Board of Education and published in the annual Compensation Plan. Extra duty pay must be recommended by the superintendent of schools and approved by the Board of Education.
