ST. LOUIS BOARD OF EDUCATION REGULATION Notification of Availability - Certificated Renewal of a permanent teacher's contract shall be automatic on an annual basis. However, between April 1 and April 14 of each year, teachers, teacher-level staff and others at the discretion of the superintendent of schools, shall be required to complete and return an availability form stating their availability for active service at the beginning of the next school year. This availability form shall be sent by the Division of Human Resources to all permanent teachers and other designated staff members, including those on authorized leaves of absence.
