EMPLOYMENT Vacancies Employees on Involuntary Leave of Absence When a vacancy occurs or is established in any department and qualified employees are on involuntary leave of absence due to a reduction in force, such qualified individuals shall be offered the job opening based on inverse order of their placement on leave of absence. If several qualified individuals were placed on leave of absence on the same day, then length of service shall govern. Regulation approved: August 6, 2003
