Vacancies - Certificated
Substitute Employees in Vacant Positions

When a regular employee is absent due to sickness, leave of absence, suspension, resignation or similar reasons, a substitute employee may be assigned on an interim basis. If the regular employee's absence is for a period longer than 10 weeks in duration, the position will be deemed vacant and may be filled by a regularly appointed employee rather than a substitute employee.
