P2112 ST. LOUIS BOARD OF EDUCATION POLICY ADMINISTRATION CENTRAL ADMINISTRATIVE AND SUPERVISORY PERSONNEL Superintendents Associates and Assistants to the Superintendent Associates and assistants to the superintendent shall be recommended for appointment to the Board of Education by the superintendent of schools. Associates and assistants to the superintendent in the areas of curriculum and instruction shall have at a minimum, a master’s degree and a valid Missouri teaching certificate. All other associates and assistants to the superintendent should have a minimum of a master’s degree and appropriate training in their field.
