RELATIONS BETWEEN NON-PUBLIC AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS AND THE SCHOOLS

Colleges and Universities

It is the policy of the Board of Education to cooperate with colleges and institutions in all areas beneficial to the students of the St. Louis Public Schools. These areas may include but are not limited to shared space, developmental or pilot programs, advanced credit programs, desegregation programs, courses and seminars designed for teachers, and others as approved by the superintendent of schools.

RELATIONS BETWEEN NON-PUBLIC AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS AND THE SCHOOLS

Colleges and Universities

Reciprocal Agreement Between the Board of Regents of Harris-Stowe State College and the Board of Education

The St. Louis Public Schools and its administrative offices may temporarily use spaces within Harris-Stowe State College as space allows with the permission of the college Monday through Friday at no charge to the Board of Education. Usage at other times shall be at a mutually agreed upon fee. All such applications shall be obtained from Harris-Stowe State College, prepared and executed by the principal of the public school or administrative officer requesting such use and submitted to the commissioner of school buildings, grounds, and property management for approval. This office will forward the application to the college for processing.

Reciprocally, the college may temporarily use spaces in the schools for college-related activities when space is available with the permission of the schools Monday through Friday at no charge to the Harris-Stowe State College Board of Regents. Usage at other times shall be at a mutually agreed upon fee. Applications for the use of school premises (Form IN-20) may be obtained from any school location. All such applications should bear the approval of the director of business affairs, Harris-Stowe State College. Principals and administrators shall process all such applications in accordance with existing regulations.
