COMMUNITY RELATIONS

RELATIONS BETWEEN NON-PUBLIC AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS AND THE SCHOOLS

The Board of Education will cooperate with parochial and private schools in matters of mutual benefit where not expressly prohibited by law.

The superintendent of schools is encouraged to explore areas of mutual benefit with the administrative officers of such schools and to recommend desirable courses of action.

COMMUNITY RELATIONS

RELATIONS BETWEEN NON-PUBLIC AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS IN THE SCHOOLS

Parochial/Private Schools

The St. Louis Public Schools shall provide the following testing services to any students from parochial or private schools who apply: Kindergarten screening, testing for students entering the ninth grade in a public high school, and special education testing.

Furthermore, it is the policy of the board to cooperate to the fullest extent in those programs allowed by law.
