PARTICIPATION BY THE PUBLIC
Community Assistance to School Personnel
Community Resources for the District

The use of community resources to support the schools' mission shall be actively pursued. Community participation in the schools shall be encouraged as a means of improving academic achievement and increasing community knowledge of and support for the schools. The superintendent shall determine the appropriate measures for providing, for the proper management of community resources.

For purposes of this policy, "community resources" includes all available means of human and material support for the schools.
