BOARD MEETING
(August 23, 2007) – The St. Louis Board of Education
will hold a Special Board Meeting on Thursday, August 30, 2007
at the Administrative Building located at 801 N. 11th Street
in Room 108. The Special Board Meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m.
and is open to the public. This notice is posted in compliance
with RSMO §610-020. The agenda is as follows:

A hearing will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 5:30
p.m. at the St. Louis Board of Education Administrative Offices,
801 N. 11th Street, St. Louis, Missouri 63101, on the 1st floor
in Room 108, at which time citizens may be heard on the property
tax proposed to be set by the Board of Education of the City
of St. Louis. The tax rates are set to produce the revenues,
which the budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2007
shows to be required from the property tax. Each tax rate is
determined by dividing the amount of revenue needed by the
assessed valuation. The result is multiplied by 100 so that
the tax rate will be expressed in cents per $100 valuation.
