BYLAWS OF THE BOARD

METHODS OF OPERATION
Meetings - Meeting Conduct - Recording

The board shall allow for the recording of any open meeting by audiotape, videotape, or other electronic means. The board may establish guidelines regarding the manner in which such recording is conducted so as to minimize disruption to the meeting. No audio recording of any meeting, record or vote closed pursuant to the provisions of section 610.021 shall be permitted without permission of the board; any person who violates this provision shall be guilty of a class C misdemeanor.

Radio and television stations desiring to report proceedings of regular public meetings of the Board of Education from the meeting must obtain prior clearance from the president of the board. Approval is discretionary with the president.
