METHODS OF OPERATION
Meetings - Meeting Conduct
Order of Business

The president, upon taking the chair, shall call the regular business meeting to order on the appearance of a quorum. The order of business for the public meeting shall normally be as follows:

1. Roll call.

2. Appearances before the board by members of the public.

3. Approval of minutes of previous sessions.

4. Reading of correspondence and other communications.

5. Reading of motions on resolutions for reference without debate.

6. Reports in the following order:

a. superintendent of schools.
b. board president.
c. special committees.

7. Unfinished business.

8. New business.

9. Adjournment.

The order of business may be changed upon the recommendation of the president of the board and the concurrence by a majority of the members present at the meeting.
