Meetings

Advance Delivery of Meeting Materials

A written agenda, reports and background materials will be provided to each board member at least five days prior to the administrative and regular business meetings to allow adequate time for review. Minutes of the previous meeting(s) will be provided prior to the regular business meetings.

A written agenda along with written reports and background materials for special meetings will be provided as soon as possible to allow time for review prior to the meetings. The Superintendent will designate appropriate members of the staff to be responsible for the preparation of the written reports and background materials.

In case of emergencies, when written reports and background materials are not available for delivery to members five days prior to the meeting dates, the materials will be delivered as soon as possible or may be distributed at the meeting at which action is requested.

When meeting materials are not available five days prior to the meeting dates, the president of the board, after consultation with the superintendent of schools, will determine whether meeting materials have been provided in sufficient time for study and review by the board so that action can be taken or whether action will be deferred until a future meeting.
