INTERNAL BOARD POLICIES METHODS OF OPERATION Formulation of Administrative Guidelines An administrative guideline is a procedure or rule developed and prepared by the superintendent of schools or by appropriate administrators at the superintendent's direction to implement Board Bylaws, Policies or Regulations. Administrative guidelines must be consistent with Board Bylaws, Policies and Regulations. The superintendent is authorized to obtain a legal opinion from the Board's attorney that any such administrative guideline is consistent with Board Bylaws, Policies and Regulations and law. The guidelines will become effective when so designated by the superintendent. Board approval is not required. Policy adopted: February 9, 1999 Revised: February 22, 2000
