AWARD OF CONTRACTS

Bonds

Each contractor awarded a contract shall be required to provide a labor and material payment bond in accordance with the requirements of Section 107.170, RSMo., or any succeeding statute. The bonds shall be in the total amount of the contract, shall be acceptable to the board, and shall be written and provided by a surety or sureties authorized to provide bonds in the State of Missouri and otherwise acceptable to the board. The contractor may also be required to provide a performance bond to ensure the faithful performance of the contract.
